Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WDFY1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WDFY1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher WDFY1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WDFY1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where WDFY1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
