Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WBP1L RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated WBP1L data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher WBP1L RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WBP1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and MESO show a favorable association.

UVM, ACC, and UCS are the cancer types where WBP1L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
