Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WBP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WBP1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher WBP1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WBP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC and UCEC are the cancer types where WBP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
