Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WASL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WASL data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher WASL Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WASL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, KICH, and UCEC are the cancer types where WASL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
