Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WASL-DT RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated WASL-DT data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher WASL-DT RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WASL-DT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and OV show a favorable association.

KIRC, OV, and BRCA are the cancer types where WASL-DT RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
