Across TCGA patient cohorts, WARS1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 16,604 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible WARS1-associated genes across cancer lineages are ETV7, GZMH, and TNFSF13B. Each is linked with WARS1 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both WARS1-to-partner and partner-to-WARS1 results are reported.
