Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VWA3B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VWA3B data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher VWA3B mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VWA3B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where VWA3B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
