Across TCGA cell cohorts, VWA1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VWA1-associated genes across cancer lineages are CRYAA, OR1N1, and PRND. Each is linked with VWA1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VWA1-to-partner and partner-to-VWA1 results are reported.
