Across TCGA patient cohorts, VTN protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,098 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VTN-associated genes across cancer lineages are SLC2A3, FLT1, and STC1. Each is linked with VTN in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VTN-to-partner and partner-to-VTN results are reported.
