Across TCGA patient cohorts, VTN mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 17 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VTN-associated genes across cancer lineages are 4E-BP1, eIF4E, and eIF4G. Each is linked with VTN in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VTN-to-partner and partner-to-VTN results are reported.
