Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VSX1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VSX1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher VSX1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VSX1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, SKCM, and LGG are the cancer types where VSX1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
