Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VSTM5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VSTM5 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher VSTM5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VSTM5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SARC and ACC are the cancer types where VSTM5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
