Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, VSTM2A protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,442 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible VSTM2A-associated genes across cancer lineages are GRIA2, SSTR1, and TMEM178A. Each is linked with VSTM2A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VSTM2A-to-partner and partner-to-VSTM2A results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, VSTM2A versus GRIA2 in BRCA, with a Pearson correlation of 0.35.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (VSTM2A→partner) and Y-score (partner→VSTM2A) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
