VSTM2A

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, VSTM2A mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,983 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VSTM2A-associated genes across cancer lineages are THOC5, CDC20, and HMGB3. Each is linked with VSTM2A in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VSTM2A-to-partner and partner-to-VSTM2A results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, THOC5 grouped by VSTM2A-low versus VSTM2A-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (VSTM2A→partner) and Y-score (partner→VSTM2A) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
