Across TCGA cell cohorts, VSTM2A protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,260 significant associations in total. BREAST shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VSTM2A-associated genes across cancer lineages are LAMTOR3, SEC16B, and PAFAH2. Each is linked with VSTM2A in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VSTM2A-to-partner and partner-to-VSTM2A results are reported.
