Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VSIG10 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VSIG10 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher VSIG10 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VSIG10 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, CESC, and UCEC are the cancer types where VSIG10 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
