Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VPS4A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VPS4A data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher VPS4A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VPS4A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, ACC, and SARC are the cancer types where VPS4A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
