Across TCGA patient cohorts, VPS4A protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,439 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VPS4A-associated genes across cancer lineages are IST1, TERF2, and TANGO6. Each is linked with VPS4A in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VPS4A-to-partner and partner-to-VPS4A results are reported.
