Across TCGA patient cohorts, VPS36 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 29 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VPS36-associated genes across cancer lineages are eEF2, EGFR_pY1068, and eIF4E. Each is linked with VPS36 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VPS36-to-partner and partner-to-VPS36 results are reported.
