Across TCGA patient cohorts, VPS26A protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,197 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VPS26A-associated genes across cancer lineages are ECD, MRPS16, and VPS35. Each is linked with VPS26A in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VPS26A-to-partner and partner-to-VPS26A results are reported.
