Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VPS25P1 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of VPS25P1’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where VPS25P1 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types VPS25P1 is over-expressed in tumor.
KIRC, KICH, and LUSC are the cancer types where VPS25P1 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
