Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VPS13D mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VPS13D data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher VPS13D mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VPS13D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LSCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, UCEC, and GBM are the cancer types where VPS13D mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
