Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VNN3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated VNN3 data layer compared with 8 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher VNN3 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VNN3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and READ show a favorable association.
STAD, KIRC, and THCA are the cancer types where VNN3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
