Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VLDLR Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VLDLR data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher VLDLR Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VLDLR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where VLDLR Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
