Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VKORC1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VKORC1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher VKORC1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VKORC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where VKORC1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
