Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VDAC2P3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated VDAC2P3 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher VDAC2P3 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VDAC2P3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SKCM show a favorable association.

HNSC, UVM, and SKCM are the cancer types where VDAC2P3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
