VCP

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VCP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VCP data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher VCP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VCP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

SARC, UCEC, and ESCA are the cancer types where VCP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
