Across TCGA cell cohorts, VCAM1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 2,257 significant associations in total. SOFT_TISSUE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VCAM1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Actin filament depolymerization, Alpha-beta T cell activation involved in immune response, and T cell differentiation involved in immune response. Each is linked with VCAM1 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VCAM1-to-partner and partner-to-VCAM1 results are reported.
