Across TCGA patient cohorts, VBP1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,277 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VBP1-associated genes across cancer lineages are CENPL, DKC1, and FLAD1. Each is linked with VBP1 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VBP1-to-partner and partner-to-VBP1 results are reported.
