VARS2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, VARS2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 38 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VARS2-associated genes across cancer lineages are ERK2, S6_pS240_S244, and Tuberin. Each is linked with VARS2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VARS2-to-partner and partner-to-VARS2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, ERK2 grouped by VARS2-low versus VARS2-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (VARS2→partner) and Y-score (partner→VARS2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
