VARS2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, VARS2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 334 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VARS2-associated genes across cancer lineages are HSFY2, SLCO1C1, and CX3CR1. Each is linked with VARS2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VARS2-to-partner and partner-to-VARS2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, HSFY2 grouped by VARS2-low versus VARS2-high in STOMACH.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (VARS2→partner) and Y-score (partner→VARS2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
