Across TCGA patient cohorts, VAPA mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 28 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VAPA-associated genes across cancer lineages are ATM, 4E-BP1, and eEF2. Each is linked with VAPA in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VAPA-to-partner and partner-to-VAPA results are reported.
