VANGL2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, VANGL2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,331 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VANGL2-associated genes across cancer lineages are POLA2, DUX4L45, and YWHAEP2. Each is linked with VANGL2 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VANGL2-to-partner and partner-to-VANGL2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, POLA2 grouped by VANGL2-low versus VANGL2-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (VANGL2→partner) and Y-score (partner→VANGL2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
