Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VAMP3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VAMP3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher VAMP3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VAMP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
OV, LIHC, and PCPG are the cancer types where VAMP3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
