Across TCGA patient cohorts, VAC14 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,077 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VAC14-associated genes across cancer lineages are PLA2G15, KMO, and SIGLEC9. Each is linked with VAC14 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VAC14-to-partner and partner-to-VAC14 results are reported.
