Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UTP14A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UTP14A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher UTP14A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UTP14A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
HNSC, COAD, and LGG are the cancer types where UTP14A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
