Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UST Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UST data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher UST Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UST expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, LUAD, and COAD are the cancer types where UST Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
