Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, USP39 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated USP39 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher USP39 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated USP39 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.

PDAC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where USP39 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
