Across TCGA patient cohorts, USP38 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 34 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible USP38-associated genes across cancer lineages are eEF2, JNK_pT183_Y185, and MEK1. Each is linked with USP38 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both USP38-to-partner and partner-to-USP38 results are reported.
