Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, USP30 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 9 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of USP30’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where USP30 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types USP30 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as COAD and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
COAD, LIHC, and THCA are the cancer types where USP30 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
