Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, USP18 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated USP18 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher USP18 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated USP18 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

SKCM, MESO, and UCEC are the cancer types where USP18 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
