Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, USP17L14P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of USP17L14P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where USP17L14P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types USP17L14P is over-expressed in tumor.
BRCA are the cancer types where USP17L14P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
