Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, USH2A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated USH2A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher USH2A Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated USH2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.

BLCA, UCEC, and ESCA are the cancer types where USH2A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
