Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, USF3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated USF3 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher USF3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated USF3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
LIHC, UCEC, and SCLC are the cancer types where USF3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
