Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, URM1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated URM1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher URM1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated URM1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
BLCA, PCPG, and SARC are the cancer types where URM1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
