Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UQCRC1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UQCRC1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher UQCRC1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UQCRC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
THCA, SARC, and UCEC are the cancer types where UQCRC1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
