Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UPK2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated UPK2 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher UPK2 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UPK2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and LGG show a favorable association.
UVM, BRCA, and ACC are the cancer types where UPK2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
