The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher UNK mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UNK expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and PDAC show a favorable association.
LSCC, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where UNK mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
