Across TCGA patient cohorts, UNK mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 12 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible UNK-associated genes across cancer lineages are p62 Lck ligand, EGFR_pY1173, and MSH6. Each is linked with UNK in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both UNK-to-partner and partner-to-UNK results are reported.
