Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UNC5B RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated UNC5B data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher UNC5B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UNC5B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and DLBC show a favorable association.

KIRP, OV, and LIHC are the cancer types where UNC5B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
